Gina’s take… Cracker B’s Hash Brown Casserole

Gather your ingredients… Combine all well. It won’t look too smooth at this point. It’s important to mix the casserole throughly halfway through the baking process. Bake or refrigerate till morning Ingredients 1 30oz package hash browns, defrosted 1/2 cup salted butter, softened 1 cup sour cream 1 can cream of potato soup 8 ounce package grated cheddar blend cheese 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp garlic powder 1/4 tsp onion powder 1/4 tsp pepper Pinch of dried thyme Process Preheat oven to 375 In a medium size casserole dish combine all ingredients Cover dish Bake casserole for 1 hour, mixing half way through Take the foil off at the 1 hour mark, bake another 20 minutes uncovered Take the casserole out of oven and be ready to throughly enjoy this delicious casserole! Breakfast Casserole

Not going to lie this was a huge hit at a recent family gathering my husband and I hosted. It’s over the top tasty with a touch of decadence. I hope you’ll try it! Cooking spray 30 oz bag hash browns defrosted 1/2 tsp salt divided 2 tablespoons butter (salted) 10 oz pork breakfast sausage 12 eggs, beaten 1 1/2 cups heavy cream 1 cup sharp cheddar 1/4 tsp minced fresh rosemary (optional) Process… 1. Spray a 8 x 11 casserole dish with cooking oil 2. Cook the sausage until done, breaking it up into small pieces, drain and set aside 3. Layer the hash browns into the dish 4. Dot the hash browns with butter 5. Sprinkle the hash brown layer with 1/4 tsp salt 6. Add a dash of pepper 7. Layer the sausage next 8. Broccoli Casserole

I came across a similar recipe on facebook. After doing some recipe research I came up with my own version. This comes together quickly. Pop it in the oven and you’ll be free to tend to the rest of your meal prepping. Ingredients 4 cups fresh chopped broccoli 1 can cream of chicken soup 1/3 cup mayonnaise 1 egg, beaten 1/4 tsp salt 1/8 tsp pepper 1/4 cup monterey jack cheese, grated 1/4 cup cheddar cheese, grated 1/4 cup crushed croutons, I used a mixed type with both dark pumpernickel and light croutons. I crushed them myself. First I placed a few handfuls of croutons in a plastic ziplock bag, then I used the back of a stainless steal measuring cup to crush them.
