What a thrill to finally be here. Joshua Tree has been on my bucket list for far too long. This was our first stop, I suppose you can tell I’m very excited. Oh my Joshua Tree, a fine specimen indeed. A pano here for your enjoyment. Folks, if you ever get a chance to visit this gorgeous National Park, don’t pass it up. It is truly worth the stop. Of course the weather must always be taken into account and one must plan well. Amazing rock formations, molten lava that rose long ago. The beauty is endless… A walk and wine session is a must. Here’s a quick link to this amazing National Park, by now I’m thinking 🤔 you’re thinking… you must go some time in your life. https://www.nps.gov/jotr/index.htm Research research research, I can’t express enough folks do your research on what to bring, when to go, etc… the desert can be brutal, you must take care and be prepared. Our little Airbnb the ‘Sunrise Cove’ was just perfect.
On a recent trip through a canyon near my home I took a few photos of a wonderful, whimsical installation featured in an alley, in a neighboring town. Here’s one of my self-described bests. ☺️

Death, dear friend, leaves such a sting. Your life on this earth ended in grief If only you were able to overcome your beasts Those that loved you, so many, so hurt So selfish, so cruel, that YOU just left I pray for you now as you enter life-after May you not know of any longer the sting you just left on this earth. g. ©️PoemsbyGina
For in this life we are broken, sometimes beyond repair But to the next one we shall pass On to eternity, completely happy at last And so for now, in this mean time Let your heart shine bright Enjoy the thought of eternity… in God’s majastic light g.
