Magnificent and Moist Meatloaf

There are quite a few meatloaf recipes out there, I based this one on my own taste buds, I like to think I’ve got a bit of a handle on flavor matches, I will let you be the judge here. 😉 

I hope you’ll give this meatloaf recipe a try. It really is quite tasty and definitely husband (my) approved. 

Ingredients 

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1.25 pound ground beef
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp paprika 
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 14.5 oz can diced fire roasted tomatoes 
  • 1/8 tsp salt 
  • 1/3 cup ketchup 

Process

  1. Preheat oven to 375
  2. In a mixing bowl combine all ingredients just until blended well 
  3. Press the mixture down lightly into a glass baking dish, 8 x 8
  4. Top with the ketchup, spread evenly
  5. Place meatloaf on top of a baking sheet to catch any grease that might spill over
  6. Bake in the oven at 375 for 1 1/2 hour 
  7. Remove from the oven (very carefully) drain the grease out
  8. Cut, serve, enjoy
