Crockpot Smothered Pork Chops and Gravy 

Here’s an easy way to make delicious smothered pork chops 


  • 8-10 small boneless pork steaks
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 envelopes pork gravy mix
  • 2 cups water
  • 1-2 tsps chicken boullion 
  • 1 tablespoon dried chopped onion
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp pepper


  1. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper
  2. Combine the rest of the ingredients right inside the crockpot. Make sure to whisk the mixture until smooth
  3. Add in the pork chops
  4. Cook on high in the crockpot for 4 hours
  5. Lower theheat and continue to cook for 3 hours on low
  6. Taste and adjust 

* Normally I’d use fresh thin sliced white onion (1 whole onion) in this, but currently I’m living with a couple of none onion lovers so I got the onion flavor in on the down low with the dried onion and onion powder. Shhhh, don’t tell. 😉

Serve these pork chops with mashed potatoes, cheesy savory grits or rice… yum, yum and yum!
