That’s Amore, in Long Beach California that is.

My husband and I are Airbnb’ing this  weekend in a fabulous little apt., in a gem of a building. What a lucky find!

That gondola thing…

On Saturday we took a stroll around the Naples area, Long Beach. It is just a short 10 minute drive from where we are staying.

And I give you the fabulous Hotel Broadlind.

Hallway to our private oasis.

A cute little common area that doubles as a wash room. There’s great classical music playing in here most of the day. It’s a lovely space to be in.  There are 2 small washers and dryers just to the right. We played a competitive though friendly 😉 game of checkers…

This is the beautiful garden balcony, we sat here and enjoyed our wine on our 1st evening. No need to go out, it was a perfect night, enjoyed each other’s co. in this welcoming space.

This little arch door leads back in…

On Saturday morning I stepped out for a jaunt around the neighborhood. When I got back I spotted the lovely keeper of the building…  trimming back the vines. A touching sight indeed and a great example of the love and sweet care it must take to allow guests like us to enjoy every aspect of this wonderful building.

Those great from another era windows, reminds me of our stays in London and in France.

Cute little design touches everywhere you turn.

What a lovely place!

The Broadlind is located in the Arts District, Long Beach California, it’s one part fab with a touch of downtown interesting.  Just the sort of area with we love.

More on my adventuring in this great Southern California city by the sea in another blog to come…

Thanks for stopping by and happy day to you all!    g.

Hi, thanks for stopping bye. I have so many passions, not quite sure (ever,) where to start. I hope you find posts here on my blog that are interesting to you. I have a culinary background, having spent time studying in Hollywood Ca. and in the South of France. I am also a passionate amateur photographer. Lately I've been trying my hand at the written word as well. Enjoy.
