Lunch! About 5 hours start to finish. I assure you totally worth the small effort in getting it started, asap! 😉
- Rinse and pat dry your chicken
- Ball up 4 pieces of foil
- Place the foil balls spaced evenly on the bottom of the crockpot
- Place 6 whole peeled garlic cloves in the chicken cavity
- Season the chicken with..
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. dried thyme
- 1 tsp. lemon pepper
- 2 tsp. chile powder
Place the chicken on the foil balls and cook on high in your crockpot for about 5 1/2 hours, depending on size of your chicken. I cooked a rather large one and it was perfectly done in 5 1/2 hours.
Served it up with a simple romaine and mushroom salad.
